Each year we celebrate our appellation's birthday with a Wine Festival. This year it will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2008 at Meyer Family Cellars between Cloverdale and Boonville in the Yorkville area. For tickets call (707) 894-9177.

Our lovely little part of the world is in southern Mendocino County, California. It received formal recognition as an American Viticultural Area (AVA) effective June 8, 1998. We're located along Highway 128 in the Highlands between two more well-known areas: the Alexander Valley (to the southeast) and the Anderson Valley (to the northwest).
